Study Abroad in Ireland
Inspirus has partnered with the NACU to offer students an opportunity to study abroad in Ireland on a 6 week summer program.
Inspirus Global Education and Pearsana, in partnership with the New American Colleges and Universities’ (NACU), are proud to announce the launch of a six-week international summer program designed to connect education, innovation, and purpose. Set in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and beginning in Summer 2026, the program will unite students from across the NACU network and affiliate campuses in a shared experience of growth, leadership, and cultural engagement.
This initiative marks a milestone in the evolution of higher education, blending academic excellence with real-world impact. Students will participate in an immersive curriculum that integrates community engagement, hands-on learning, and exposure to emerging industries. Each participant will take part in one of five focus areas: Civil Discourse, Cybersecurity, Game Design & Gaming, Entrepreneurship & Business Start-Up, and AI Exploration & App Development.
Through this unique program, students will not only develop their professional skills but also experience personal transformation. By working alongside community organizations, students will be mentored, support local initiatives, and contribute directly to thesocial and cultural vibrancy of Belfast. Students will engage deeply with the community, gaining empathy, perspective, and leadership through service and collaboration.
The presence of these international students will bring renewed energy and global connection to Belfast’s already thriving ecosystem of innovation, sport, and education. They will contribute to the city’s ongoing story of resilience and progress, forming relationships that bridge cultures and build lasting networks of understanding.
“For over three decades, I have had the privilege of working with universities throughout the U.S. We have seen the life-changing impact of taking students beyond the classroom. Building on our significant experience this partnership is about much more than travel; it’s about growth, confidence, and discovering purpose through global experience. We are proud to work with NACU, and our time together will benefit many.” — Gareth Maguire, CEO, Inspirus Global Education & Pearsana.
“NACU is excited to expand globally career-focused, professional learning for our partner campuses. Teaming with Inspirus and Pearsana allows us to blend academic excellence with real-world experience and cultural immersion in Northern Ireland.” — Dr. Seán Creighton, President, NACU
Applications for the first cohort open this winter, with students preparing to travel in June 2026. As they learn and serve in Belfast, these young leaders will help build bridges across borders, teaching them that education, when grounded in purpose, can transform both people and places. The NACU–Inspirus Summer Program is a catalyst for change and a platform for students to grow, connect, and leave a meaningful mark on the world. To learn more in the New Year, sign up HERE.
